Dr. Kari Badwi is a passionate pediatric dentist on a mission to inspire a generation of children who genuinely enjoy going to the dentist. Her unwavering commitment to this cause led her to choose pediatric dentistry as her career path, and she continues to find joy in her work every single day.

Born and raised in Calgary, AB, Dr. Badwi embarked on her dental journey at New York University, where she earned her dental degree in 2004. Following her time at NYU, she further honed her skills by completing a one-year General Practice Residency in Buffalo, NY, and then dedicating 2 years to postgraduate studies at the Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, specializing in pediatric dentistry.

Returning to her hometown in 2007, Dr. Badwi fulfilled her dream by establishing her private practice in Midnapore. Her dedication and expertise have earned her the esteemed position of Division Chief of pediatric dentistry for the Alberta Health Services Calgary zone, where she continues to make a significant impact.

Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Badwi’s life revolves around her two boys, who actively participate in hockey, football and basketball. You can often find her cheering on the sidelines at hockey rinks and sports fields across town, cherishing the moments with her husband and children.

Dr. Badwi’s overarching goal remains consistent—to create outstanding patient experiences that instill confidence and happiness in every child visiting her practice.  She firmly believes that with a little love, we can all be more courageous.
