Course Description 

The following will be covered in this course.

• Lumps and Bumps: Review Oral Lesions and Therapeutics that are commonly encountered in a community practice. It reinforces chairside techniques for Head and Neck intra-oral examinations.  Techniques for written and photo documentation for the oral lesions are also discussed.
• Describe opportunities to initiate discussion and counsel about HPV and HPV prevention, including vaccination
• Discuss HPV prevention measures and how health care professionals can integrate HPV prevention recommendations into their clinical practice
• Understand the patient journey after a diagnosis of head and neck cancer
• Discuss current immunization recommendations (National Advisory Committee on Immunization) and schedules
• New Billing Codes for Vaccinations and Fees Guide, Benchmarked against Smoking Cessation. In addition, Dr. Cable will present the AHS Rapid Access Head and Neck Cancer Pathway.
